Benefits of Sulphate of Potash Granular on the ground

  • It’s virtually chloride free and has a low salt index making it ideal for use on crops that are sensitive to these two compounds.
  • The low salt index supports water preservation by plants.
  • Mixes well with all other fertilisers for ease of targeted application.

Actual spreading rates will vary according to farm type, climate, productivity and soil type. Soil testing and fertiliser plans are available to ensure you use the right product at the correct rate.

As with most solid fertilisers, Potassium Sulphate can be stored over a season as long as it is kept in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area.

Sulphate of Potash - Granular is manufactured via the Mannheim process, where potassium chloride and sulphuric acid are combined in a furnace and heated to around 800 degrees.

Sulphate of Potash Granular mixes well with other products and is rarely used on its own.

Segregation may occur when mixed with products with differences in particle size.
