Benefits of Ammo 31™ on the ground

  • Enhances nitrogen and sulphate levels ready for spring growth.
  • Perfect blend of ammonium sulphate and Urea at a ratio of 60:40.

Ammo 31™ and Ammo 36™ are typically applied in August at a rate of approximately 100kg/ha (equivalent to 30-40kg N/ha). Most farmers will follow this several weeks later with standard Urea applications to continued pasture growth to meet the requirements of the dairy herd.

Actual spreading rates will vary according to farm type, climate, productivity and soil type. Soil testing and fertiliser plans are available to ensure you use the right product at the correct rate.

As with most solid fertilisers, Ammo 31™ and Ammo 36™ can be stored over a season as long as it is kept in a cool, dry, well ventilated area.

Also, clean drills and spreaders after use to avoid corrosion.

Although Ammo 31™ generally mixes well with other products, it is not compatible with the following: Superphosphate, Sulphur Super 30, Magnesium Oxide, Copper Sulphate and Cobalt Sulphate.

Segregation may occur when mixed with products with differences in particle size.

Flexi-N (magnesium coated Urea) can be used as a substitute when mixing with Superphosphate based products.
